I have seen many a “re-edit” in my time and often times they are pretty ridiculous. It is strange to me that someone would take the time to hunt down a rider’s clips from multiple edits and rip them apart and reconfigure them. It seems to me that a highlight reel would be the job of the rider himself… and with all of the original clips. On top of it, chopping up various edits in low quality from various sources often makes the edit a half-assed hodge-podge. On the flip side, this re-edit of Grant C. is quite impressive. The editor obviously took some time to make this happen and even moved around b-roll! The result is a pretty damn good edit that you could even think was an original. I guess Grant C. finally made it… ha.

Just in case you wondered what the winning video looked like from this contest, here it is. Take it serious. Then realize its ridiculous.
